Celebrating Women in Tech
Women in the technology industry are hard to come by, with the technology industry traditionally being male dominant. The average percentage of women in tech related roles in Australia is only 34% in comparison to their male counterparts making up 66%.
At RPG, we are proud to be trending above the industry average within our Samsung business and are always continuing to achieve greater diversity & inclusion throughout our business.

Oleta - Samsung Highpoint, Sales Lead
What is your current role and what is your favourite part of the role?
My current role at Samsung is that of a Sales Lead at Samsung Highpoint. I have been in this position for 2 years, and with the business for almost 5. Each day presents new and engaging challenges .
What is the biggest misconception about working at Samsung?
I feel that the biggest misconception is the separation between work and friends. Here at Samsung Highpoint, we share not only that of the bond of co-workers, but that of a FAMILY!
What advice would you give to someone applying for a role with us?
My one and only advice would be to present yourself with the up most confidence. Working for Samsung is a privilege that presents itself with the amazing opportunity of working with people from all walks of life.
Reanne - Samsung George Street, Assistant Store Manager
What is your current role and what is your favourite part of the role?
My current role is Assistant store manager for Samsung George street and my favourite part of the role is the friendships that I’ve been able to make and all the interesting people you get to meet every day.
What is the biggest misconception about working at Samsung?
The biggest misconception about working with Samsung is the company being a male dominated role sometimes true however even more the reason to work there cause anything they can do i can do better!
What advice would you give to someone applying for a role with us?
The advice I would give someone applying for a role is don’t think you can’t do it and don’t give up because at the end of the day at least you can say I tried and I gave it my all without having any regrets!
